    How fun was that? I actually remember when this song was a hit and I actually remember liking it (I guess I still like it, but don’t ask me to admit that in public). Looks like this is from the Saturday night show sponsored by Beech Nut gum and I’m struck by how young that audience is (Frankie, too). Those kids look like they’re in junior high at best. And the guys are all in suits and ties. My, how times have changed. Thanks for this one. I guess I was in need to a nostalgic little journey and didn’t even know it.

      I was excited to find this video with him and Dick Clark. The audience was all dressed up. The boys in jackets and ties. The girls in dresses, some pretty frilly. I bet the girl whose hands he held still tells her story. The adoration was wonderful.
