Yogi Berra quote
March 6, 2021 at 12:38 pm
Decisions, decisions! As a kid I always liked the danger of walking along a railroad track. Luckily, the trains ran infrequently.

They ran too infrequently for me. I remember seeing them from my grandparents’ yard. There was even a house for the train guy who put down the barrier when the train was going across the street. The house is still there but looks less like a train building and more of a plain house. I loved walking the tracks.

Another great Yogi quote, βWhen you get to the fork in the road, take itβ. π

The forest looks nice, I’d take the turn to the right.
Another bike ride today, part of the ride was on a former coal railway which is a bike way now.

Birgit,
That is a rail master’s station not so far away from where I lived. It isn’t around anymore. I think I’d head to the left.
The cape has a bike trail almost its whole distance. Here in Dennis, it was paved over what had been a rail bed.
