    Kat,
    What a simply glorious pick. I had to dig back in my memory banks for Simon Dupree and the big sound and other than the name of the band I had exactly nothing !

    I guess they popped out in the late 60s when competition was overwhelming, had a hit and vamoosed

    So excellent, thank you

      You are quite welcome, MDH. I found a couple of songs with this title, but I listened twice to this one because the first listen had me hooked, and I wanted to hear it one more time.

    Loving it too, especially the vibes and hand percussion. Looks like some of the guys formed Gentle Giant later.

      The gong and the xylophone are my favorites. I don’t know Gentle Giant but my fingers are well versed in doing the walking.
