It makes me happy when this one comes up. Somewhere along the line, I lost my ability to sit in front of a television. I get restless. But I definitely grew up in its glow, and this record captures the pleasant hypnosis of old.

When I was a kid, we played outside most afternoons after school, but we raced inside for The Mickey Mouse Club to sing along with the gang. I haver been a fan of television since then, but I can’t just watch TV. I have to be doing something like being on line, putting a puzzle together or reading. The TV is my background noise.
