You know this is my favorite Joni. We played the Clouds album just about every night in Ghana. I love the imagery, the beauty of her words, of her colors and descriptions. I remember one night we talked about the bowl of oranges. My friend Bill said the oranges are always green in his mind’s eye. I agreed. Ghanaian oranges are always green. I wondered why they were still called oranges, but I guess greenies just didn’t work.
