    Around the time of “Exotic Birds and Fruit” I saw Procol Harum at the Rainbow in Finsbury Park. American TV was recording a series of concerts and gave out free tickets for a couple of nights. So I also saw The Kinks, The Sensational Alex Harvey Band, Roxy Music, Leo Sayer and Humble Pie. All very very long ago

    Exotic Birds was , for me, their best album and I still play it

      I agree it is their best album. I think it is also their least known.

      Of course, you saw them! Of course it was free!!
