School lunch with a big jar of what? We ate in the school cafeteria. All the ladies who served the hot lunches wore hair nets and looked matronly.

My elementary school did not have a cafeteria. None in the town did. The junior high and high school had them as did the high school I went to. That would be a big jar of milk.
