When my son was about five or six in 2001, he discovered my father’s manual portable typewriter. He called it, “Grandpa’s ancient word processor”. 🙂

I still have the typewriter I received as one of my high school graduation gifts. It is in the cellar. I should bring it up.

You have to go online to find ribbons. Not much of a market for typewriter ribbbons.

It is the same with ink cartridges for pens.
