    I have never been able to decide whether or not I like Frank Zappa. Easy stuff like San Ber’dino fit into my listening realm. I think I finally decided that I was more amuse by Captain Beefheart than Zappa

    I was a sick as hell with the flu but had tickets to see Frank Zappa and the Zappa Orchestra at the Hammersmith Odeon some time in the 70s. My disposition was not improved when Zappa wandered on to the stage, sat on a stool with his back to the audience and waved in the general direction of the band

    Huh, maybe I know now why I like Beefheart better

      My Dear Hedley,
      Zappa has songs I don’t like at all, but he has a few I really like. I really like this one.

      What an arrogant SOB.
