Gee mom, it’s a Hoover. My mother had one just like it. I don’t remember her wearing a dress and heels while vacuuming. 🙂 June Cleaver wore pearls while cleaning house.

My mother had one of these then she went modern and got a round one from Sears.
She did not clean dressed up either.
