    This was one of my favorite songs as a kid in the 1950s. I was not a big Rock and Roll fan.

      It’s a great song. I also learned it when I was a kid, when my mother played her hifi.

    Oh, the Banana Bread song 🙂
    Just fun on language, we sometimes call it this way in German because Boot (boat) and Brot (bread) sounds quite alike.
    Enjoy your banana bread!
    The last time I made banana bread I added egg liqueur, it was delicious.

      Now I’m checking to see what sort of liqueur I can add.

      I remember Das Boot, an excellent film with sub-titles. I thought that a great play on words.
