I wonder if we will see this scene again. Kids are now finishing the school year remotely via the internet. If this works will this be repeated next year to save money. Our training center is setting up for remote classes.

I don’t think remote learning will become the new way to learn and to teach. People are quite slow to change. We can’t even get teachers to agree to open school before Labor Day here. Because of living in a tourist area, they think kids should be free until the season ends, after Labor Day.
School would have to provide not only books to all but also Chrome Books or the like to those families without a computer.

The Dallas Independent School District is handing out laptops to families that don’t have them and one of the cable TV providers, Spectum is giving free high speed internet to any family that can’t afford it.

The city of Boston also handed out laptops, but I worry about cities with little money. They won’t be able to buy as many laptops. I don’t remember about wifi.
