    We’ve come a long way in a short period of time. Colonial Airlines was a predecessor of American Airlines. The airplane pictured was a Ford Tri-Motor. The Flying in those days was noisy, uncomfortable and sometimes dangerous.

      Bob,
      I would not have been enthused about flying in that plane. I have taken a prop but it seemed far studier than the one pictured.
