    This was the end for Harry. Pussycats with Lennon was an awful record and entertaining each other my screaming literally destroyed his vocal cords. The heavy cocaine use didn’t help. If you have Amazon Prime you can watch “Who is Harry Nilsson” a fundamentally sad documentary of his life

    The RCA Albums collection is a fantastic collection of his music. I follow Harry on Instagram where his children lovingly remember their Father

      My Dear Hedley,
      It does sometimes happen that I pick a clunker. I have found Harry to be as much a poet as a musician, singer.

    This song gets me every time. Maybe my favorite version is a live one by Marianne Faithfull.

      I didn’t know Marianne Faithfull has a cover of this as I would have hunted for it. I sometimes think I should do a posting of 4 versions, covers, of one song as they can sound so very different.
