Too bad, it looks like the video is only available on facebook. (Meanwhile my computer blocklist also contains all fb sites. Yup, I’m crazy.) I couldn’t find the video anywhere else yet but at least npr had snippets in Dagbani and English by the Ghanaian singers and other versions. An interesting and hopeful story about this song which spreads around the world. Thanks for posting it anyway, I’ll keep searching but first Dr.Who on TV and hot cocoa.
Birgit,
I also tried to find the video on other sites, but when I couldn’t find it, I was forced to use the Facebook link. I think the women just came together for this song. I wanted to tape my students singing before I left. I taped various tribal songs in the different languages. They all sounded so wonderful.
I love Dr. Who. On my Christmas tree was a Dalek, a Tardis, a Dr. Who screwdriver and Dr. Who himself.
