    Not only was Autry a cowboy singer and actor, but he owned the original franchise for the Los Angeles Angel baseball team. He was a very wealthy man as a real estate investor.

      I knew he owned the baseball team. They used to flash him on the screen during games.

      He was a great singing cowboy!
