I’m an Old Cowhand: Bing Crosby

I’ve posted this before, but I like the cameos, and it was first as far as I can find.

I don’t think that old Bing ever saw a real cowboy. 🙂

I probably shared this when you posted ‘Cowhand’ before. It’s my favorite version of the song (and, possibly, one of the best “cover” songs of all time). Maryann Price singing lead with Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks. Yippee-yi-o-ki-yay!

      im6,
I always search Coffee to see how many times a version of any song is posted. This cover was posted one time, and I totally agree with you. They and she raise this song to an amazing high level.

I chose the Bing version as it was the oldest (1936) and it was fun to see such a young Roy Rogers with his Sons of the Pioneers and hear Louis Prima play.
