In the summer of 1969 my father and a British expat friend went to the UK. They took a side trip to the Isle of Jeresy and my dad took a picture of two gentleman lying on the beach fully dressed in Morning Coats, ties, stripped trousers and shoes and socks. They had their bowlers covering their faces and were holding their walking sticks. Very proper taking in the sun like those two woman in the park. 🙂

I had wonderful picture of two couples sitting chairs on the beach. They were all full clothed. Their car was behind them. It was a wonderful picture much like the one you described.
