A super duper pick Kat. One of the classic Who songs that was a mess on release and reissue but very much part of their live shows when I first started going to their concerts.
I am sure I have said it before but its almost impossible to describe the energy that The Who generated when Pete, Rog, Keith and John hit the stage in the early 70s (my time) . I could only compare it to the fervor of being on the terraces at a football match, packed in with your mates and the home team scores.
I honestly have no idea how many times I have seen them – I still tend to go even when it is just Pete and Rog and I buy the endless rounds of reissues like a lemming going off a cliff.

MDH,
This is the only song I thought of to post. I had to look up the rest of them.
Having seen very few, almost no, concerts I am massively envious of the ones you shave seen. I would love to have been at The Who in the 70’s.

Kat, at a Hammersmith Odeon they were so loud that my “date de jour” retreated to the ladies bathroom and didn’t come out until it was over. In that era my two big bands were The Who and (Rod Stewart and) The Faces

MDH,
I was not a fan of loud music either. I would’ve been with your “date de jour” in the ladies.
