I’ve been thinking a lot about several ’50s bands, including The Orioles, a lot recently because Paul Simon has reenvisioned his “Renee and Georgette Magritte with Their Dog after the War” for his latest album/tour, and I really like the new version. Have you heard it?

No I haven’t, sprite. Now I’ll have to hunt it down.
The song is just so wonderful. I love all the early groups he mentions. They had such an amazing, lovely sound.

Thanks, sprite!
This is such a lovely song! It is Paul Simon’s best storytelling.
