Unrecognizable. Times Square, 1943. The photograph was taken by John Vachon for the Office of War Information. I’d never heard of Walt Disney’s “Saludos Amigos”

I recognized the building with Schaefer on it so I knew it was Times Square. I also never heard of “Saludos Amigos.” For some reason I know Joe Carioca.
