Louisa May Alcott quote
August 21, 2018 at 7:04 pm
This was a typical coffee shop in the stone ages before anyone in this country knew what a Latte was before Starbucks. A famous coffee shop chain in New York City was called ‘Chock Full of Nuts’ in its heyday. In Canada there’s a famous chain of coffee shops called ‘Tim Horton’. Tim Horton is now owned by the company that owns Burger King and Chock Full of Nuts is making a comeback in Manhattan.

Bob,
This coffee shop was in Boston. It wasn’t a chain. I remember Chock Full of Nuts.
I loved the coffee shops in Europe in countries like Austria. It was a civilized place for coffee.
