Yup, somewhere I have the 45 on the old Pye label. Ray and Dave are still making general sounds about a Kinks reunion, even though they cant stand each other.
Meanwhile they are rolling out a Super Deluxe edition of Village Green Preservation Society a massive 11 disc thingy of CDs and vinyl and 174 tracks. I don’t do mixed media but it did get my attention

This is such a neat song. It is one of my favorites.
I never heard of the Eye label. I’d be surprised if they had a reunion though it seems that groups that reunite seem to do well. Even groups like New Kids on the Block.
I so love Village Green Preservation society, the song itself, not the 11 discs.
