Shenandoah does some yeoman country work. Remind me of the group Alabama songs. Hail from Muscle Shoals, which has famous musical studios and very well-known known for their studio musicians.
Been down in Mobile and slid over to Pensacola as well for about a week – where I typically take a non-connected sabbatical. I’ll have to see what music you been posting in a while.
Spaceman,
I was hoping the posted song might bring a comment and a video. I know nothing about Shenandoah, but I did like the Church song of theirs. Their style is just right for the song.
I like the idea of a non-connected sabbatical. It is wonderful to rest weary body and mind.
I like this song as well. Thanks for adding to my education!!
I went to a weekend church retreat about 10 years. There was no cell phone service in the area and first instructions were to take off your watch and turn off all electronic devices. Hey – it was OK.
Spaceman,
I don’t wear a watch. If I need to be somewhere, I leave with plenty of time to get there. My iPad is a necessary travel device as I fill it with books to read. On my last trip to Ghana, I read several of them. I think I would miss my computer most of all.
