I really like this song and can remember seeing the Perry Como show when growing up. Thankfully, my parents also enjoyed the musical shows and to this day I thank them for giving me an appreciation of that time ers. I enjoy listing to the 40s on Sirius radio to this day. Songs were so much better back then compared to the nonsense out today.
Beatrice,
Like you, I thank my mother for giving me a love for her music. My brother and I used to joke that we were the only people our age who could sing along with Shrimp Boats.
I really don’t know much of the music around today.

Brill, just plain brill.
I know Mrs MDH and I saw Mr Como at Meadowbrook in Rochester but it had to be 30 years ago, and I can’t remember ! I know we were sitting on the lawn.

My Dear Hedley
Totally agreement here! I never saw him, but I always watched his TV program. I loved Perry at Christmas.

Spaceman,
That’s okay. We all can’t like the same type of music or they’d be no variety.
