A time when the family sat around the radio and listened to variety shows, dramas, comedy shows, kid shows and soap operas. Between Apple Music and Spotify I wonder how much longer FM radio will survive. AM radio will go in as the mouth piece of the conservative talk radio movement.

Bob,
I listen to AM sports radio and traffic reports if I am going to Boston. Other than that, it’s local FM stations.

I listen to NPR and podcasts from NPR. For traffic I use my iPhone GPS for traffic info. Sports radio will live on. I understand that one of the Scandinavian countries is going to turn off their FM radio transmissions.

NPR is on FM here. I get a local NPR and one out of Boston as well. I don’t need traffic reports except if I’m going through Boston.

NPR here is also on FM. We also have an FM all classical music station which is owned by the City of Dallas.

Bob,
I often listen to the classical station which our local PBS owns.

Thanks, Bob. I had to find out how to fix it so I did!
