It’s Not Love (But It’s Not Bad) is a poor guy country song and Merle has the perfect voice for this. How sad he had to settle.

Merle has a nice voice and a soothing measured manner of delivery. Easy to see why he was popular for such a long time. He’s end up in the top 5 of country singers if you took a popularity survey of traditional style men artists.

She did look lovely. I can never get rid of the image of her and her pink suit, also with hat.

The image of her wearing the blood stained dress and the hat while Judge Sarah Hughes swore LBJ as President on Air Force One is iconic.
