I find more and more musicians and actors have opined their politics. It doesn’t bother me. I figure they have a right.

A certain amount of temperance is often wise when speaking in a public forum. In particular if it has the potential to negatively impact your colleagues.

I learned early on to gauge my audience and to prepare my words accordingly, but I didn’t stray from my beliefs.I stayed true.

I would like to think that my speech is always thoughtful. It wasn’t necessarily so when I was younger.
