    In any Lynyrd Skynyrd concert, you will hear the ubiquitous shouts for “Free Bird”. Rite of passage in Dixie. But too long

      I almost didn’t post this because of its length, but I do like the song so I posted it anyway.

      That it is a rite of passage Dixie is new to me. Which I suspect is not a surprise.

    Well, it might not be that exactly – though Skynrd fans would likely think so. And if wanted to pick the iconic southern rock band – it is hands down Lynyrd Skynyrd.

      As usual I was late in finding Skynrd. In the car I listen to talk radio or oldies so I miss a lot. Most of the timeI just happen on a band.
