“Dayo, Dayo sunrise come and I want to go home”, goes the Bannana Boat song. This photo reminds me of Harry Belefonte singing the song. For a short time in the late 1950s Calypso was very popular and then it disappeared.

I remember that song. It was The Tarriers who sang it first.
Calypso was a fad which is too bad as I love the beat of it.
