    Was this the worst “band” of all time ? Is it an insult to even call David Gates and his chums a band ? I struggle to even think of who could be as awful…Air Supply ? Asia ? Kansas ? The 70s produced some of the most appalling music…..and then along came Elvis and The Clash and Bruce and…well it all got better.

    Winner of the KTCC 2018 Lennie In Memorium Award.

        then exit stage left, mildly embracing Joan Baez who presented you with the spectacular trophy, and try NOT to fall over your gown, given your propensity to fall over.

        That is a wonderful acceptance speech. I would add and My Dear Hedley to those I am thanking for making this award possible.

        I would definitely wear a gown which isn’t an accident waiting to happen. It, however, would not resemble Whoopie’s in any way!!

        I read it as Birgit.
