    Ok Kat, I am gonna throw the hand grenade. “Court and Spark” is without any doubt Joni’s finest album. Breathtaking in its lyric, and angst, It’s 36 minutes of a great artist escaping the shackles of folk music and taking the listener on an extraordinary ride through rock and in to jazz

    Blue ? No, For the Roses ? No, Don Juan’s Reckless Daughter …maybe. Hissing ? Awfully close.

    Right, back to The Bachelor and the fantasy suites

      My Dear Hedley,
      I’m not so sure I could choose her best album as many of them rise so far above the ordinary. Court and Spark is definitely one of them.
