      Spaceman,
It is a great start for your week. The Bama comeback was a wonderful win!

Toyota made a smart choice as this will stop the new taxes threatened by Trump.

It was a great game – things were looking grim for while. Kirby Smart (Georgia coach) was a long time assistant coach to Nick Saban so the game was featured as a mentor – student game. Could have gone either way. But all in all, it’s still just a “game” and we just try to have a little fun for a few hours. It will be interesting to see if the Pats have the legs to make it to the top this year. They are my fav pro team – they got personality.

      Spaceman,
The Pats surely do have personality. Gronk tops that list and even Belichick is on it.

I enjoy games like the Bama game when some sit on the edge of your seat action happens like the last Super Bowl.

I wish everyone remembered it is only game.

      Spaceman,
I don’t know the background of the coaches of just about any sport unless they’ve been around a long time. Bill has a few roots.

I often turn the TV sound off and listen to the radio broadcast – Eli Gold has a colorful voice.

      Spaceman,
It was sad to hear the Georgia Radio Network. I loved the Spanish broadcast and the announcer’s excitement about the touchdown.

In the heyday of the Celtics, I used to turn off the sound and listen to Johnny Most. He had great names for the players and got so excited, “Havlicek Stole the Ball.

Oh yea, good stuff. TV announcers use too many cliched descriptions. Radio announcers have to add more for their audiences and get to throw in some emotion. Havlicek, besides his basketball prowess, is known as the man who didn’t sweat. I think my favorite Celt teams were when Bird ,McHale, and Robert Parish were playing. But they had so many good teams.

        Spaceman,
That was also favorite team. I loved watching Bird and McHale shoot.

Johnny Most was the best for listening. Everyone I knew who was a Celts fa always listened to the radio while watching the TV.

I used to sneak my radio under the covers to listen to Johnny when the Celts were playing on the west coast.
