Beautiful voice, terrible performer. Many years ago I took my girlfriend to see him live in a hotel. It was a small venue and he sang all his favorites. However, that was it. He had no personally as an entertainer. It would have been better to just buy a copy of his records. This was before CDs or iTunes.

I would never have guessed that as he seems so personable. His voice is beautiful. I guess I’m glad I never saw hime in concert.
