Laura Ingalls Wilder quote

My sister and I hung up stockings on the fireplace mantle every year when we were kids. Of course we knew it was BS and we were Jewish a kid just can’t forego an opportunity for a small gift or some candy. My spouse has a blue and white stocking with the Star of David on the front. 🙂

Bob,
I loved my stockings. My mother was a stocking stuffer of legend.
When we moved down the cape, we had a fireplace so that made it easy.
