Owl,
I love this. I think Zoot Sims might have just jumped to the top of my jazz favorites. b Because I had some money left in iTunes, I bought the album!
Thanks!

Hi Katry!
Thanks for the reply. Glad you liked the music. Other good Zoot Sims— songs on YouTube are:
“In the middle of a kiss”, “A Time for Love”, “Emily” and “Ham Hock Blues. ”
But wait, there’s more! (You caught me a good day, haha!)
Two other great jazz sax players are:
Scott Hamilton “Skylark” or “Setagaya Serenade” on YouTube, and also
Sax-man Houston Person. I like Houston’s “If it’s the Last Thing I Do”. Here it is, from YouTube: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=I5P1t_uFCtQ. –theOwl30. More at http://www.wordpressowl.wordpress.com Happy Friday! 🤣

Owl,
Okay, I am thinking Houston Person’s music works so well with my mood right now. I’ve been reading all afternoon with a bit of symphonic music chosen by Alexa. This is so much better, relaxed and, to use the wording, smooth jazz.
I have a link which downloads youTube songs. I may be busy later adding a few songs to my files!!(http://www.convertfiles.com)
Thanks!!

I just found that out when I followed the link. I’m now at your blog. I have added it to my blogroll links so maybe I can send some readers your way.
You’ll find WordPress easy to us. I started with Blogger but got kicked off for posting links to downloads. I find WordPress does what I need.

Thanks for posting Miss Ella. She wrote the book on female vocalists.
Two of the greatest jazz vocalists in history.

Bob,
I am such an Ella fan that no thanks are necessary. It is self-serving.
