I’m glad Strickler was given credit for the invention of the banana split. It is definitely one of those iconic desserts. I love the pineapple on top. One pharmacy in my town used to put a cherry on each of the three scoops of ice cream.
Those shakers were in the diner and the luncheonette in my town. I think they are the favored shakers at many different restaurants.

I haven’t ever seen this movie. It has great stars so I guess I’ll have to watch it at some point.
