Peace Corps sent us helmets but we never used them. Maybe I should have as one guy from my group in Ghana was killed while riding his bike.

One of those photos showed the motorcycle presented to Father Owen McCoy whose mission was in NAVRONGO, Gold Coast, British West Africa. I was about 10 miles or so from Navrongo. There is a large cathedral there, the Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of Seven Sorrows. The church is one of the oldest churches in Ghana.
