Nice tribute to Tom Petty Kat. I saw him in May 1977 at the Hammersmith Odeon opening for Nils Lofgren. It had to be the first tour for the Heartbreakers and given the first album ran 30 minutes, the show included covers like Route 66. I do remember Petty rolling out a very early version of “Listen to her Heart” which remains one of my favorites
40 years of Tom Petty has left me with loads of vinyl, CDs and boxsets, and tons of favorites. Thanks Tom you were an authentic and I guess here I was a 22 year old kid, in row U of the Odeon and you blew me away with this

Thank you, My Dear Hedley
If I had to guess, I would have figured you’d seen him. Your concert6 history is envied by me.
I don’t think I knew Tom Petty in 1977. I didn’t find him until later, and I was so glad I had.
There are so many choices I could have posted. This is another one. Thanks for the posting!
