minicapt,
I always think the color is a bit odd when pictures are developed from glass negatives and lantern slides. It is amazing to me what has been saved like the newspaper articles and all the seed catalogues.
I saved some of the pictures. My favorite is the three women on The National Farm and Home Hour.

Bob,
I think it is making a comeback. I know three people who can. One’s a first timer.
My mother made the best piccalilli at the end of the summer every year. I really miss it but haven’t felt like making it myself.

16+ quarts of dill pickles last month; it hasn’t died out yet.

Gnu,
Those Noxzema ads were always so sexy. Women and cars-unbeatable.
Thanks for the great memories!

Gnu,
I remember seeing a couple of these ads. Some of the others are blatantly offensive. I wonder why it took airing them before anyone noticed.
