Yes, the same Jerry Orbach who played a police detective in the early series of Law and Order TV shows. A very talented guy who is no longer with us.

He was in so many plays and even won a Tony. Jerry was multi-talentwed and was in the theater, TV and was the voiceover for Luminere in Beauty and the Beast.

He did a great job playing a wise cracking NY cop.
