Sylvia Plath quote
August 26, 2017 at 12:31 pm
Today kids have no idea what a pay phone was or is. I think there are only four pay phones still in existence in Manhattan. I tell our new instructors about the time in 1988 when I was stranded in Milwaukee on a trip carrying Senator Bob Dole and I had to use a pay phone to call Cessna Aircraft to order a part.

Bob,
I remember stopping at every phone booth when I was a kid hoping to find a dime in the return slot. I did sometimes.
