It was November 18 1975, and Bruce came on stage at the Hammersmith Odeon wearing some goofy hat, and bathed in blue light played Thunder Road, you can see it and hear it on the CD and DVD he later released, but not me up in the balcony. He was back for a second show on the 24th and I went on my own and bought a tour poster than has been with me ever since. My Triumph Herald was parked under the overpass.
Springsteen is one of those rare artists who has travelled through time and miles with me having last seen him in Paris last year on the River Tour. Springsteen on Broadway awaits and I will try for tickets.
Love the pick, love the song and no, I don’t know how many times I have seen Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band
Happy Woodward cruise weekend Kat

My Dear Hedley,
You know I haven’t ever seen Springsteen. I imagine he has been in Boston, but I don’t remember specifics. You always have the best stories about your concerts. I love your tour poster. That is the sort of memory to hang and remember.
Given your luck, I expect you will get those Broadway tickets.
Thanks, MDH!!
