      That picture of him and his family on the beach is the prime story on MSNBC. Even his lieutenant governor is throwing him under the bus.

      I didn’t know this was taken in 1915. Swimming for both males and females must have been difficult as they would be weighed down by those bathing suits.

      Walking on the beach in suits and ties or dresses couldn’t have been much fun.

        During the Victorian era even showing a woman’s ankle was considered risqué. Sex was a taboo topic and there were lots of misconceptions about human sexuality that lasted until Masters and Johnson in the 1950s. Of course there was no shortage of people fooling around, they just felt very guilty.

        Joke: A mother catches her young son playing with himself in the bathroom. She says, “Don’t do that Johnny you will go blind”. The kid asks, “Can I do it until I need glasses?”

        Thanks for the link. The Victorian era was not much fun sexually. Unfortunately, much of their crazy ideas persisted into the 1950s.
