My college roommate’s father used to say he would give up all modern conveniences except indoor plumbing. I would add air conditioning and a washer/dryer. 🙂

I learned how to squat over a hole when I was in Ghana. That is quite a talent.
I agree about indoor plumbing. I could do without AC and a washer and dryer. but they all make life so much easier.
