      This is the original version of this song. It happens that different covers do better than the original.

    Indeed – didn’t know this was the original. It is a pretty song. And yes, sometimes later covers are more popular. Can muster added resources into arrangements and production, studio musicians, etc.

      I just happened on the original. Her name came up with the song so I did some digging as I hadn’t ever heard of her.
