The Forces Sweetheart is 99 with March 2017 bringing that other number. She was always part of our lives growing up and rightly held in the highest esteem

My Dear Hedley,
I remember Vera Lynn from all her WWII songs. I was researching music from then and found her. I totally understand her being held in high esteem.
I just assumed she was gone. WOW!! 99!!
