So the topic is Wonderful. Sound wonderful! I’m pretty sure you’ve also written a wonderful post which we unfortunately can’t see… Still in draft folder?

Birgit,
I don’t know what happened to it. The post isn’t even in drafts. That makes no sense to me as it should have been saved as I wrote it.

Until the post from Kat shows up, you can listen to my contribution to the theme/topic. I know you’ll all be simply shocked that I chose something from this guy…

Thanks, Birgit, for helping to fill the space left by my missing posting. I love the Louis version, but I like this one as well. I hadn’t heard it before this.

minicapt,
These are amazing pictures. They are scenes I recognize as many are of the Northern and Upper Regions of Ghana. The round compounds are indigenous only to those regions. There were many in my town and in the surrounding villages.

My dad had a friend who would always reply to, How are you? with one word Wonderful. When I was young I thought it sounded corny or arrogant but now I think it’s a good summation of life. Every day I get up on this side of the grass it’s wonderful.
I intend to get up tomorrow on this side and the day will be wonderful. On Thursday wonderful also will include over eating and watching the Cowboys defeat Washington. π Doing it with my family makes it even more wonderful.

Bob,
I have been lucky in my life, and I celebrate that every day. Yup, I’d agree that life is wonderful.
Tomorrow I have a couple of errands and on Thursday my friends and I are going out to dinner. We’ll have a wonderful time.
