minicapt,
I followed the link from my e-mail. What struck me was the rod. My brother is a fly fishing guide here on the cape. I was amazed at hot thin and flexible his fishing rod is.

minicapt,
I think my brother-in-law uses a reel. My brother with clients uses a reel but many times not when he is by himself.
My brother-in-law travels for work. Many times he packs his rod as he knows there are great streams for fishing where he is going. Last year for his birthday Ryder, my grand nephew, got his first pair of waders from his grandfather (my brother-in-law). He has been fishing since he was tiny (he is 10). His father, my nephew, also loves fishing.
