The guy right in the middle wearing the hat never moves. A few of them do clap. This was the earliest video of this song, hence, my choice.

This may be the earliest video, but it’s not exactly an “early” recording of this song. It was initially released in 1959 and this was apparently taped in the early 1970s if the clothes and hair are any indication. Chuck’s probably somewhere around 45-years-old here (born in 1926, he’ll be NINETY on October 18th of this year). Let’s see, I saw him live in 1969, so he was *only* 33-1/3 at the time.
